Creativity Post (Memes)

For my second project, I worked on memes. I was too late finding a group to work with so I had to do it on my own. I didn’t mind this though, it really gave me a chance to see what I could do, and I also enjoyed working on my own. I did as much research as I could and I got to work on my powerpoint presentation. I made sure that there wasn’t a lot of words on the slides so that I could read off them and show that I really knew what I was talking about. All in all the presentation went pretty well. I could have expanded on some of the points I made and I have that to work on. I also made sure that for next time I would have a group to work with.

Digital Audio Project - 2

After actually getting into a group and picking the task, we had to complete it then put it all together.  First the audio had to be edited. We tried many different software but then decided to go with windows movie maker as it was easy and free to use. the audio wasn't too bad to work with after finding a suitable software. the next task was putting a presentation together and figuring out what would go into it and who would say what. Leslie opted to put it together with content being included by all of us.  We decided who would say what parts of the presentation and got to practicing.  We were very happy with what we had and were confident in our work. Today was the day we presented and it was good. We realized that there was some parts we could have included and some other parts that we could have expanded on, but overall we did a pretty decent job and are looking forward to doing something similar in the future.

Introduction to a Future Photographer

I have now successfully learned how to use a blog. My name is Kevin and I'm 19 years of age. This is my second time being a first year as I did a business course last year. It wasn't for me so I decided to switch to Creative Digital Media because it was more interesting to me. I never know what to say when someone asks me to describe myself so I'm going to try my best. My goals for this module are basically to learn everything there is to learn about digital media. I'm really excited to be doing something in college that I am genuinely interested in so I'm eager to learn as much as possible. When it comes to music and movies, I could go on for hours and hours. I'm not sure about my number 1 favourite movie because I'd keep changing my mind if I tried to pick just one. My top 3 as of now would have to be: The Wolf Of Wall Street, Forrest Gump, and Avengers: Infinity War. The first time I watched all 3 of these movies I fell in love with them instantly....

Digital Audio Project - 1

I picked digital audio for my digital media project. After texting into slack, I found 2 other people who were also interested in digital audio, Leslie and Clionadh.  We found we all picked digital audio for similar reasons, Clionadh because she had podcast experience, Leslie because she was interested in film and especially the audio aspect, and myself as I was a bit of a mixture of both.  We decided that the task we would do would do would be the podcast as it stuck out to each of us.  Initially, none of us really knew each other so it was a little awkward. We decided to make a whats app group to communicate better in. After meeting up a few times, we found we were all very like minded and outgoing people, so this made the working together aspect of the project much easier to handle.  Myself and Clionadh even found that we had similar backgrounds when it came to answering some of the questions Leslie asked us.  Speaking of the questions...
